The Security Officer provides protection for the facility, employees and product by performing a wide variety of duties involving use of various procedures.


· Checks all boxes, packages, bags, containers and the likes that are entering and leaving the property.

· Conducts Security rounds.

· Checks in and out trailers.

· Monitors people’s coming and going.

· Monitors the parking lot.

· Completes forms as necessary.

· Monitors the CCTV.

· Writes reports.

· Enforces policies and procedures.

I. Education and Experience

· High School diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training or certification

· Three (3) to twelve 12) months experience in security

II. Language Skills

Qualified persons must be able to speak fluent English. Bilingual candidates are a plus.

III. Reasoning Ability

Qualified persons shall show the ability to be able to make decisions and come to realistic conclusions.

IV. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

None required however shall be able to obtain any state certification as required by the state.

V. Physical Demands

· Employees will be required to spend the majority of the work day standing and walking.

· Employee must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

· Employee must have keen eyesight to detect situations from afar.

· Employee must be able to use computer.

VI. Working Environment

Employee will work in all weather conditions making outside rounds during all seasons. Employee will be required to make rounds in the facility which will also expose them to a verity of temperatures and conditions.
